Thanksgiving Update for William Goforth
November 27, 2002
O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon His name: make known His deeds among the people. Psalm 105:1
A most blessed American tradition—Thanksgiving. It is a time to recall all that the Lord has done. The Word reminds us to, "make known His deeds." (Psalm 105:1.)
The Wheeler and Goforth families want to make known His deeds and express thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for having been so kind to us—for giving us a baby that is daily thriving with the benefits of God’s good grace and mercy of healing, in the name of Jesus our Great Physician.
We are also thankful to you all who committed time, and time again, to pray on Baby William's behalf, and who are continuing to pray daily for the full recovery of our precious grandson. For this Thanksgiving, your Butterball isn't the only thing weighing in at a whopping 12 pounds. It's been an entire 10 months since William's birth, and he is finally approaching his teens—in weight, that is! Glory to God!
We desire to write more as soon as the busy season of the year allows. But one last thing, especially for those we have not yet had a chance to tell...this Thanksgiving we are doubly thankful, for we have the blessed gift of another precious grandbaby on the way. Joshua and Noelle are expecting son #2 Feb. 15th, and have been given favorable reports at each check up. PTL!
May the Lord be as gracious to you all, and manifest all the goodness He has bestowed upon you this past year.
thanksgiving to the Lord Jesus Christ,
